President & Chief Executive Officer

Michael Hearon joined CBBC Bank on August 1, 2022, as the President and CEO. He has served on boards, committees, and fundraising events for organizations including United Way of Blount County, New Hope – Blount County Children’s Advocacy Center, Boys & Girls Club of Blount County, Alzheimer’s Tennessee, and the Boy Scouts’ Tuckaleechee District. A resident of Walland, Tennessee, Michael is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He enjoys spending time outdoors in the beautiful foothills and mountains of East Tennessee.

Executive Vice President/Chief Lending Officer

John Harris has been part of CBBC Bank since March 2017. A Knoxville resident and graduate of Knox Central High School and the University of Tennessee, he is actively involved with YOKE in Knoxville. John enjoys traveling in his free time.

Chief Credit Officer

Kirby Burton joined CBBC Bank as Chief Credit Officer in 2025, bringing 32 years of banking experience. His background includes roles as an FDIC bank examiner, consultant, and leader in risk management and credit at institutions ranging from de novo banks to those with over $10 billion in assets. He previously served as Chief Risk Officer at SouthEast Bank.

Kirby is Treasurer of the East Tennessee Chapter of the Risk Management Association (RMA). Originally from Branchland, WV, he graduated from Guyan Valley High School and West Virginia Wesleyan College. Now living in Knoxville’s Hardin Valley area, he is a single dad to six children and a proud grandfather. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his kids, friends, and rescue dog, Joy, and is an avid UT Vols fan. You’ll often find him at the baseball field cheering on his two youngest sons.

Senior Vice President/Chief Operations Officer

Jonathan Settlemire has been with CBBC Bank since May 2008, serving in a variety of roles, including Teller, CSR, Branch Manager, eBanking Officer, and IT Manager. He resides in Louisville, Blount County, and holds degrees from Maryville College and UTC. A former Rotarian (2014–2016), Jonathan enjoys movies, travel, and spending time with his dogs and a deaf cat.

Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer

Mindy Stooksbury has been with CBBC Bank since December 21, 2015, and holds the position of SVP and CFO. Previously, she served as Controller. Mindy volunteers with Junior Achievement and resides in Louisville, Tennessee. A William Blount High School graduate, she earned a B.A. in Business Management from Maryville College, an M.B.A. from Lincoln Memorial University, and a Doctorate in Education with a focus on Organizational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. Mindy is married to Joel and has a daughter, Ava. She enjoys traveling in her free time.

Senior Vice President/Commercial Relationship Manager

Robert Carter joined CBBC Bank on October 1, 2020, as Senior Vice President and Commercial Relationship Manager. He serves on the Executive Board of the Great Smoky Mountain Council for the Boy Scouts of America and is a member of the Rotary Club of Knoxville. Robert lives in Knoxville and is a graduate of Lincoln County High School (Fayetteville, TN), the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado in Boulder, CO. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring the mountains, relaxing on the lake and beach, and bike riding.

Senior Vice President/Commercial Relationship Manager

Christley Ford joined CBBC Bank in June 2024, and brings over 25 years of experience in

the commercial lending field. She is a graduate of Harriman High School and Tusculum University. Residing in Knoxville, she is a member of Providence Church and active in groups like Girls Networking for a Cause, Charity Chicks, and Breast Connect. Married to Carl, Christley enjoys traveling, concerts, and spending time with family and friends.

Senior Vice President/Commercial Relationship Manager

A CBBC Bank team member since December 1999, Brian Hord has served as CRA Officer, Branch Manager, and more. He resides in Maryville and holds degrees from UT Knoxville and Lincoln Memorial University. Active in the community, Brian has served on boards for the Hearing & Speech Foundation and the American Cancer Society. He enjoys gardening, sports, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Senior Vice President/Business Development/Community Outreach

Kathy Johnson has been with CBBC Bank since May 5, 1992, and has over 38 years of banking experience. Her previous roles include Branch Manager and VP. Kathy is deeply involved in the community through United Way of Blount County, Tom Hatcher Charity Committee, and as graduates of Leadership Blount and Leadership of East Tennessee, among other volunteer activities. Residing in Seymour, Blount County, Kathy is the proud mother of one son, a daughter-in-law, and four grandchildren.

Senior Vice President/Mortgage Department Manager

Novella Jones is a Senior Vice President at CBBC Bank, bringing decades of experience in various roles, including Teller, Assistant Head Teller, Customer Service Representative, Assistant Head Bookkeeper, Administrative Assistant to the President, and Vice President. Novella first joined CBBC Bank in August 1977, worked until 2002, and returned in October 2013. She serves on the Blount Partnership Board of Directors, the United Way Cabinet, and as an Ambassador. A Rockford resident, Novella is a graduate of Everett High School (1976) and has completed numerous banking programs, including the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado State University in 2017. She enjoys reading thriller fiction, cooking, and spending time with her two daughters, one granddaughter, and three grandsons.

Senior Vice President/Commercial Relationship Manager

Aaron Owen joined CBBC Bank on August 12, 2024, as Senior Vice President and Commercial Relationship Manager. He is on the board of Be Aware Blount and has mentored business owners to become capital ready with groups like Pathway Lending, Knoxville Entrepreneur Center and Sky City. A native of Maryville, Blount County, Aaron graduated from Sweetwater High School and attended Pellissippi State Community College. Married for 15 years, he is a proud father of two kids and a dog. Aaron loves spending time outdoors, whether hiking, snowboarding, or gardening, and appreciates the natural beauty of East Tennessee.

Senior Vice President/Branch Administrator

Beth Pyle has been with CBBC Bank since August 17, 1989, and currently serves as SVP and Branch Administrator. Her prior roles include Bookkeeper, Teller, CSR, Head Teller, Branch Manager, BSA Officer, and CSR Coordinator. Beth is the Secretary/Treasurer for the Friendsville Optimist Club and lives in Maryville. A graduate of William Blount High School, she also attended Pellissippi State and the Southeastern School of Banking. Beth is married with two children and five grandchildren. She enjoys reading, spending time with her family, traveling, hiking, and kayaking with her husband.

Senior Vice President/Human Resources Director

Susan Zerambo has been with CBBC Bank since November 2002, holding roles such as Teller, CSR, and Branch Manager. She resides in Maryville and serves on the boards of United Way and Keep Blount Beautiful. A William Blount High School and Pellissippi State alumna, Susan enjoys reading and traveling.

Vice President/Loan Compliance Officer

Since October 1994, Mindy Boudreau has held multiple roles at CBBC Bank, including Branch Manager and CSR. A Maryville resident, she has attended various banking schools, including the Southeastern School of Banking. Mindy enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and grandchildren.

Assistant Vice President/Heritage Branch Manager

Meagan Byrd joined CBBC Bank in November 2010 and has served in diverse roles, including Teller, CSR, Social Media Manager, and Executive Assistant. A Maryville native and graduate of Maryville High School and Maryville College, Meagan is active in her community as a Chamber Ambassador, Junior Achievement volunteer, and church treasurer. Married to Josh Byrd, she enjoys camping, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her two dogs, Dolly and Toby.

Banking Officer/Topside Branch Manager

Heather Case joined CBBC Bank in August 2024 and currently serves as Branch Manager and Officer at our Topside Road location. She began her career with CBBC as a CSR at the 411 branch and brings years of customer service experience to her role. A graduate of Ider High School, Class of 1999, Heather lives in Seymour, TN, and is the proud mother of two children.

Vice President/IT Manager

Keith Daniel joined CBBC Bank in June 2021. A longtime Blount County resident, Keith grew up in Atlanta and has called East Tennessee home since 2006. He enjoys reading, photography, and spending time with his wife and their eight grandchildren. Over the years, he’s become a passionate VOLS fan.

Vice President Facilities & Security

With CBBC Bank since April 1994, Scott Edmondson has served in roles such as IT and Branch Manager. A Maryville native and graduate of Maryville High School, Scott dedicates himself to ensuring the bank's facilities and security are top-notch.

Assistant Vice President/BSA/AML Officer

Sean Garrett joined CBBC Bank on September 20, 2007, and serves as the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Officer. He has held roles as Teller, CSR, and Electronic Banking Associate. Sean is an active member of First Baptist Church Maryville, where he contributes to the Technology and Human Resources Teams. A Maryville resident, Sean graduated from Lee High School in Jonesville, VA, and earned a B.A. in Communication Arts from Lincoln Memorial University in 2005. He enjoys spending time with his wife and son, playing tabletop and video games, practicing karate with his son, learning new skills, and repairing electronics.

Vice President, Main Office Branch Manager/Mortgage Lender

Chad Hicks joined CBBC Bank on May 2, 2005, and currently serves as the Main Office Branch Manager and Mortgage Loan Officer. His previous roles at CBBC Bank include Teller and CSR. A proud graduate of William Blount High School, Chad resides in Louisville, Blount County. He is an active member of the Alcoa Kiwanis and spends his free time coaching his daughter’s 10-year-old girls’ travel softball team, watching sports (especially Tennessee teams), working out, and fishing when time allows.

Assistant Vice President/Highway 411 South Branch Officer

Rick Hudolin joined CBBC Bank on July 5, 2023, and serves as Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager. With a background that includes service in the United States Marine Corps, Rick is actively involved in his community as a member of the Board of Directors for Leadership Blount and the Blount County Youth Court. A resident of Blount County, Rick is a graduate of Joliet Central High School. Married to his wife, Carly, since 2001, they share a daughter, Lainey, who is 23. Rick enjoys traveling, cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals, and supporting UT sports.

Vice President/Marketing Director

With CBBC Bank since May 1991, Laura Lenear has worked as a Teller, CSR, Branch Manager, Loan Officer, and Incentive Program Coordinator. She is a Maryville High School and University of Tennessee graduate. Laura is a Trustee with East Maryville Baptist Church and serves in the Children's Ministry. She loves playing pickleball, camping at the beach and traveling with her husband.

Vice President/Foothills Branch Manager

Julie Miller has been with CBBC Bank since March 6, 1997, and is currently the Vice President, Mortgage Lender, and Branch Officer. Her prior roles include Proof Operator, Teller, Customer Service Representative, and Operations Manager. Julie is an active member and treasurer of the Kiwanis Club of Maryville, Tennessee. A resident of Maryville in Blount County, Julie graduated from Greenback High School. She has been married to Caleb for 13 years, is a devoted mom to two fur babies, and enjoys traveling and her love of animals.

Vice President/Townsend Branch Manager

Brent Musick has been with CBBC Bank since October 3, 2016, and currently serves as Vice President and Townsend Branch Officer. He is the President of the Townsend Kiwanis Club, Board Chair for Experience Your Smokies (EYS), and a volunteer with the Appalachian Mountain Bike Club (AMBC). Brent lives in Maryville, Blount County, and holds an associate degree from Walters State Community College, a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga, a master’s degree from East Tennessee State University, and is a graduate of the South Carolina Bankers School. Brent and his family are passionate about the outdoors, spending their time hiking, biking in the mountains, or enjoying the lakes in the region.

Banking Officer/Portfolio Manager

Donna joined the bank in 2019 and brings a strong commitment to both professional excellence and community involvement. She is actively dedicated to volunteering with organizations such as United Way of Blount County and the Tom Hatcher Charity, and she also serves on the Tennessee Bankers Association Women in Banking Committee. A graduate of Heritage High School, she also studied at Pellissippi State, and the University of Tennessee, along with completing numerous banking programs and coursework through the Appraisal Institute. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, history, traveling, and attending sports events and concerts.

Assistant Vice President/Midland Operations Manager

Since joining CBBC Bank in October 1996, Joy Paine has held roles such as Teller, Head Teller, CSR, and Branch Manager. A Blount County resident, she has been married for 40 years and has two children, two grandchildren, and two spoiled cats. Joy loves gardening, decorating for the holidays, and spending time with her family.

Banking Officer/Deposit Specialist, Executive Assistant, Social Media Manager & Events Coordinator

Lana Pettis joined CBBC Bank in March 1999 and has served in roles including Teller, CSR, and Administrative Specialist in the Commercial Department. A Maryville native and United Way Champion for 2024, she graduated from William Blount High School and has pursued further studies. Lana loves traveling and is dedicated to her role in the community.

Vice President/Midland Branch Manager

Perry Roberts joined CBBC Bank on April 25, 2016, and is the Vice President and Branch Manager. A dedicated community member, Perry volunteers with United Way of Blount County, serves on the advisory board for the Boys & Girls Club of Blount County, and acts as an Ambassador for the Blount Chamber Partnership. He lives in Maryville, Blount County, and is a graduate of Heritage High School and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with a B.S. in Business Administration. Perry enjoys traveling, attending sporting events, and listening to live music.

Vice President/Controller/Deposit Operations Officer

Joining CBBC Bank in March 2022, Stefanie Shipley has held positions as Teller and Loan Operations Manager. She lives in Blount County and is an alumna of William Blount High School and Pellissippi State Community College. Stefanie is married with one child and has two miniature dachshunds. She loves traveling, especially to the beach.

Vice President/Loan Operations Manager

Leah Smith has been a part of CBBC Bank since August 28, 1995, and serves as Vice President and Loan Operations Manager. She previously held roles as Teller, Credit Card Coordinator, and Loan Operations Supervisor. Leah is actively involved with Habitat for Humanity and Alzheimer’s Tennessee. A Blount County resident, she is a William Blount High School graduate and earned a Certificate in Banking from Pellissippi State. Leah is married to Jeff, has one son, Lee, and two boxers, Zero and Titan. She loves camping and spending time outdoors.

eBanking Branch Officer & Bank Trainer

Kelly Whedbee has been with CBBC Bank since 2015 and currently serves as the eBanking Branch Officer and Bank Trainer. Throughout her tenure, she has held roles as Customer Service Representative Coordinator, CSR, and Teller.
An active member of Monte Vista Baptist Church, Kelly sings in the choir and teaches Pre-Teen Sunday School. She also serves as President of the Alcoa Band Boosters. Kelly lives in Alcoa with her husband and their three sons, enjoying a strong connection to both her community and her family.

eBanking Officer/ eBanking Specialist

Hired in February 2022, Devin currently serves as an eBanking Officer at CBBC, where he previously held roles as an NSF Desk Associate and eBanking Specialist. A graduate of Canisteo-Greenwood High School, he studied Accounting at Genesee Community College and now lives in Maryville. In his free time, he enjoys fitness and working with computers.
